Actors Rajkummar Rao and Kangana Ranaut have teamed up again for a film after starring in the 2014 hit movie Queen. They will star in upcoming movie Mental Hai Kya.

Mental Hai Kya will be directed by Prakash Kovelamudi, who has helmed south Indian films like Anaganaga O Dheerudu and Size Zero.After teasing fans with new posters on each day over the week, the makers of Mental Hai Kya have rolled out the fifth and the ultimate set of posters, thereby announcing that the project has gone on floors. Mental Hai Kya brings back the Queen couple Rajkummar Rao and Kangana Ranaut on the silver screen once again, after a wait of four years. In the two posters, both the powerhouses of talent, Rajkummar and Kangana. Rajkummar and Kangana are at their insane best by providing all the oddity possible in this look. The posters make a very spunky and bold statement reasserting the fact that “Sanity is overrated!’. All the posters unveiled so far only symbolize that the movie will be a real mind twister for the audiences. Overall, these posters are bound to increase the excitement for the film even further. During Queen, Kangana was the lead star while Raj had a supporting role. However, Mental Hai Kya stars them both in the lead roles. Talking about the same, Kangana told Mirror, “He is a star today while still being a brilliant actor, so I will have to be on my toes to ensure he doesn’t steal the show from right under my nose,” she laughs.
The makers who have pulled off a never done before film announcement, have successfully hiked up the crazy quotient and have left the audiences excited for the film which is an entertaining thriller filled with dollops of dark humour. The shooting begins this month and the first schedule will be shot in Mumbai before the cast and crew gears up for London.The project will be helmed by veteran Tollywood filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao’s son Prakash Kovelamudi who will be making his Bollywood debut with the film. Prakash’s debut directorial Bommalata was considered as the Best Film in Telugu at the 53rd National Awards.
